Cimarron Energy, Inc. is the leading designer and manufacturer of natural gas and oil production and processing equipment for producers throughout the Rocky Mountains.

Not many gas and oil production equipment companies have survived and grown through the cyclical booms and busts of the oil and gas business. Cimarron has.

John Moore founded Cimarron in 1976. He and ten employees first manufactured oil and water storage tanks — Cimarron quickly expanded — and in 1980 Cimarron built a new manufacturing plant in Guymon, Oklahoma, to accommodate its growing product line.

In 1983 the company diversified into oil and gas production equipment, offering more products to its original customers. Within two years Cimarron found its competitive sweet spot serving the Rocky Mountain region, specializing in cold-weather applications.

Since then we’ve grown our customer base, sales and service exponentially. We constantly re-engineer our products for higher performance. And we still think and operate fast on our feet. We invest in our people, and that’s paid off. We’ve retained the same highly skilled employees for 15, 20, and even 25 years.

Today, Cimarron is the dominant oil and natural gas production equipment manufacturer and re-manufacturer on the West Slopes and the Front Range and employs nearly 200 people. Cimarron has three manufacturing plants with more than 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space to serve its customer base.

Cimarron facilities and their activities include:

• Guymon, Oklahoma—corporate headquarters and prototype development
• Marlow, Oklahoma—main plant, manufacturing units for multiple-well use
• Norman, Oklahoma—manufacturing gas-production units and specialty items for the drilling rig industry
• Greeley, Colorado—repairing, remanufacturing and recertifying equipment and distribution center strategically located to serve its customer base
