PACER GLYCOL PURIFICATIONThe Cimarron PACER is a mobile DEHY Cleaning/ Glycol Purifying unit which is environmentally safe and the most cost effective cleaning/purifying method available. In addition to glycol purification, this unique process provides our customers with an efficient means of cleaning dehydration equipment, reducing hazardous waste volume, converting hazardous waste into a useful product, and eliminating the emission of dangerous BTEX and VOC's. ALL of this is done without stopping gas flow! AdvantagesCimarron realizes that downtime in natural gas production is lost income for our customers. By using a side stream process, the PACER is able to reclaim spent glycol and clean dehydration systems without interfering with natural gas production. The PACER utilizes the glycol in the dehydration system along with a proprietary detergent to aid in the removal of coke, sludge, dirt, and other contaminants that cause glycol to become less effective and add to costly maintenance procedures. By properly maintaining dehydration systems, natural gas producers and transporters can more than recover their investment each year in:
In addition to glycol purification, Cimarron's PACER is a preventative maintenance tool that allows natural gas producers to:
Mobility
Cimarron's PACER is ready to deploy anywhere in the Western United States. The portability of the PACER allows our operators to move these mobile units quickly and easily to sites in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Wyoming and surrounding states. The PACER can also be used to reclaim spent glycol in a batch process. Cimarron will come to your holding tanks and purify spent glycol. Although this method does not take full advantage of the PACER's capabilities, the results are remarkable. The Bottom LineCustomers who have utilized the PACER's unique capabilities know the time and money saved in maintenance procedures and costly shutdowns by far exceeds the cost of glycol reclamation with the PACER. Cimarron recently finished a PACER job in Wyoming where an aged TEG system was contaminated. Cimarron was able to provide an alternative to the conventional cleaning method which would require shutting down the system for an extended period of time. In addition to the cost of new TEG solution, the resultant loss to the plant was estimated at $35,360 (or 16,000 Equivalent Barrels of Oil). By utilizing Cimarron's PACER for 26 days, the cost to the plant was ONLY $19,500. The TEG system was thoroughly cleaned and the TEG was returned to 96.8% quality with reduced contaminants and lower pH. Customer analysis of total savings to the plant were computed to be $49,860, including no loss in NGL recovery. Contact Cimarron today to get a glycol reclamation estimate on your plant! |
