HEAT TRANSFER FLUID RECLAMATION

Cimarron provides fluid reclamation services for Heat Transfer Fluid Systems. Our reclamation unit utilizes a filtration system along with the PACER II to purify spent heat transfer fluids through a vacuum distillation process. This unique process provides our customers with an efficient means of cleaning heat transfer fluid systems and reducing hazardous waste volume. ALL of this is done without plant shutdown!

Cimarron purifies heat transfer fluids by:

  • Increasing viscosity
  • Raising flash point
  • Removing moisture
  • Removing xylene insolubles
  • Removing suspended solids and other contaminants

Advantages

Cimarron realizes that downtime in operations is lost income for our customers. By using a side stream process, Cimarron is able to reclaim contaminated heat transfer fluid and clean these systems without interfering with natural gas production. Heat transfer fluid system's will remain online while Cimarron cleans the system and purifies the contaminated fluid. By properly maintaining heat transfer fluid systems, customers can more than recover their investment each year in:

  • Decreased potential formation of xylene insolubles
  • Lower energy costs
  • Reduced filter changes
  • Reduced fuel consumption
  • Reduced hazardous waste disposals by 98%

In addition to heat transfer fluid reclamation, Cimarron's PACER II is a preventative maintenance tool that allows customers to:

  • Increase efficiency
  • Increase equipment life
  • Reduce maintenance costs
  • Reduce operational shutdowns

Mobility

Cimarron has developed a unique, mobile process in which contaminated heat transfer fluid is purified through filtration and vacuum distillation in a closed system. Cimarron's reclamation unit can be taken to virtually any site!

Cimarron's PACER II along with a filtration unit is ready to deploy anywhere in the Western United States. The portability of the this system allows our operators to move these mobile units quickly and easily to sites in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and surrounding states.

The Bottom Line

Cimarron recognizes the high costs associated with the disposal of heat transfer fluids and the high cost of recharging the system with new fluids after conventional cleaning. Customers who have utilized Cimarron's unique capabilities know the time and money saved in maintenance procedures and costly shutdowns by far exceeds the cost of heat transfer fluid reclamation.
